Ep. 77 – Is the Fentanyl Opioid Crisis A Created Plot? Stories from the Front Lines

The opioid crisis has spun out of control because of bad government policy. Is the problem incompetence or is there a bigger agenda being served? Stories from the front lines of the opioid epidemic.

While President Trump recently declared the opioid crisis a public health emergency the last thing America needs is more bad drug related policy. The drug war has allowed the black market, where Fentanyl is being laced with heroin and other opiates at an alarming rate, to thrive. The result of the dangerous new drug combinations has been deadly as Fentanyl related overdose deaths have increased 540% over the past three years.

If that’s not bad enough, the government subsidizes the lifestyle of drug addicts through Medicaid which gives heroin addicts for example, free methadone, free cab rides to the methadone clinic, and free cash directed right into their bank accounts, enabling them to use the money to buy more heroin or other illegal drugs on the black market.

If the government wanted end America’s drug problem, they’d focus on eliminating the drug policies that are facilitating it. With opioid addiction in America spiraling out of control, it’s time to question the motives of the powers that be. Is the opioid crisis a government created plot designed to serve a bigger agenda?

On this episode of the Propaganda Report podcast, we explore that question. We also take a look at the epidemic through a libertarian lens. And finally, we take calls from those who’ve been on the front lines of the drug crisis.
